Outer ring of carbon steel,phosphated, radially split twice, held tog ether by screws,with sliding surface of PTFE composite material；Inner ring of carbon chromium steel , hardened,sliding surface treated with hard chromium plating. Bearings of the S design have an annular groove and lubrication holes in inner ring.
